Entry-Level Environmental Professional

Our Entry-Level Environmental Professionals are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard environmental techniques and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with environmental site assessments, field studies, development of soil and groundwater sampling plans, data analysis, GIS analysis, site remediation, and preparation of environmental reports, permits, and assessments.
 
Opportunities exist in multiple market segments and locations. Market segments include Air/Noise, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, and Wetlands. Specific assignments and project work varies depending on the market segments and locations. Please see below for information on each market:
 
Air/Noise
Within this group, our Entry-Level hires will work on permitting services in the power, industrial, commercial, transportation and manufacturing industries. This includes performing air and noise quality analyses and permitting, environmental regulatory analysis and interpretation of environmental regulations.
 
Environmental Engineer
Our Entry-Level Environmental Engineers work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer and assist with new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including high-voltage transmission line routing, power generation construction activities, and water treatment facilities. They work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting environmental plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.
 
Environmental Scientist
Our Scientists conduct environmental and siting studies including biological and aquatics field work, data recording and analysis, prepare permitting applications and summary reports for various types of projects, including high-voltage transmission line routing, power generation construction activities, renewable energy generation, and water treatment facilities. Working knowledge of Geographical Information Systems preferred.
 
Geologist
Our Entry-Level Geologists assist on a variety of environmental based tasks as required by the project including federal, state, local, and commercial clients. This position is responsible for field sampling, investigations, and report writing. 
 
Wetlands Specialist
Our Wetlands Specialists conduct wetland assessments and delineations, vegetative studies, wetland mitigation monitoring, and soil sampling for large projects in a variety of locations. Participate in data recording and analysis, permitting application preparation, and summary reports. Working knowledge of Geographical Information Systems preferred.
