Recovery Specialist-2nd Shift Adult Crisis Residential Services

We are seeking a recovery specialist to work with our collaborative healthcare team to provide mental health treatment services.  This position is located at our Mulberry location working with adults in our crisis residential program. The ideal candidate has a passion for this population and ability to thrive in a fast pace environment.

•Engage clients in a supportive and dignified manner.

•Assess for the nature of the client's symptoms and appropriate interventions. 

•Assist clients in completing crisis plans to help them learn how to manage their symptoms and use effective coping skills. 

•Collaborate with internal an external providers to coordinate access to the indicated level of care. 

•Identify risk factors involving potential crisis situations.

•Provide on-site and off-site assessments for persons in crisis and make appropriate referrals. 

•Complete documentation as necessary for related tasks and maintain timeliness and communication.

 

• Bachelors degree in related field highly preferred, High school diploma with 5 years experience in the mental health field.

• Must qualify as an MHP or higher.

•Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.
