Entry Level Project Engineer

An entry level Mechanical Project Engineer position is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To qualify for this position, you will have the minimum of a BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering. You will be creating and maintaining project schedules, supporting multi-disciplinary teams, executing standard work and driving tasks to completion through program milestones. The position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Project Engineer job duties:

• Creating Schedules using MS Project

• Development of project plans and budgets

• Proposal writing

• Prototype development

• Create and maintain standard work

• Risk management

• Supporting multi-discipline teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering

• Technical mindset with a business acumen

• Proficient in Microsoft Office & MS Project

• Must be able to read and understand technical material in reference to customer requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Detail oriented

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Desired but not required skills:

• Aerospace experience

• SAP
