Bilingual Research Study Coordinator
Position Description: We are currently seeking a full-time Bilingual Research Study Coordinator to join the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging (CAHRA) at Northwestern University. CAHRA seeks to advance the study of limited health literacy and effective interventions through applied research studies. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Research Study Coordinator will primarily work on a large trial working with multiple community health centers to improve medication adherence among patients with multiple medications.
Position Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and scheduling study participants
- Completing in-person and telephone interviews
- Maintaining daily operation of the study, including managing study participants’ files
- Obtaining and tracking financial incentives for participants
- Assisting the Project Manager with the coordination of the study
- Assisting with abstract and manuscript development, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Prior research experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well both independently on a self-directed basis and in a team environment
- Interest in public health, health literacy, medication adherence and chronic conditions.
