Live-streaming is one of the fastest growing forms of entertainment and is quickly growing into a massive industry. Twitch alone has 15 million daily active users and over 350 BILLION minutes of content watched annually. And with nearly 3 million unique streamers (and growing), there’s a TON of content waiting to be discovered. Finding the content you want can be a daunting task that’s incredibly time consuming. But the satisfaction of finding a content creator you love leads millions to do it every day.
That’s where StreamKick comes in. We believe there’s massive opportunity in connecting people with content they’ll love, and helping content creators further their ambitions. We’re a live-streaming discovery platform where real-time viewer feedback is used to recommend new content on demand. The viewer is in full control - browsing for specific content or allowing StreamKick do the heavy lifting.
There are millions of great content creators out there to be discovered, and we’re making it happen.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT HERE
StreamKick is being built after-hours by a passionate team of accomplished professionals. We all have startup experience and understand what it takes to get a product off the ground and into market.
Our efforts are goal-focused but self-paced. As a team we work collectively toward specific objectives and communicate extensively throughout the process. Our entire team is remote, and we hold each other accountable. But we pride ourselves on being flexible and understanding that real life happens.

Our full tech stack is outlined below, and we also integrate with various gaming and streaming APIs that help us improve our services. AWS experience is a plus but not necessary.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
StreamKick has launched and we’re seeking development talent to continue pushing platform enhancements / improvements as we scale the business. If live-streaming, gaming, or esports excites you, we're at the intersection of it all. Here’s what you’ll do at StreamKick:
- Join our team as a contractor with an option to come aboard permanently if the feeling is mutual
- Work within the above tech stack, with the flexibility to loop in additional tools as needed
- Architect efficient and creative solutions to scale our back-end systems
- Integrate core components from industry leading streaming platforms' APIs (Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- Work in tandem with our design and development team to bring amazing discovery experience to the viewer
- Deploy your own code
- Operate freely and on your own schedule within a defined product roadmap
Top priority is finding someone that’s the right fit. Specifically:
- Experience building and scaling back-end systems
- Self-motivated (this is a startup!)
- Possess an interest / understanding of live-streaming and video games (no - Super Mario Bros. doesn't count)
