Personal Trainer

Full-time experienced personal trainer for a physician-owned, state-of-the-art fitness facility targeting adults over the age of forty who have medical conditions, have not exercised for an extended period of time, or are uncomfortable in traditional gym settings.  
 
Essential duties include: 
1) Providing on-the-floor instruction and education to ensure each individual is exercising correctly;
2) Development of individualized exercise plans;
3) Assist in the development, implementation and teaching of classes and workshops;
4) Conduct new member orientations including age appropriate fitness testing

1) Knowledge and use of appropriate and safe personal training methods for older adults;
2) BA/BS 4-year or greater degree in exercise related field with a minimum of two years of experience providing personal training and class instruction for older adults;
3) Ability to engage and interact with members in an energetic, enthusiastic and motivational manner;
4) Ability to promote the social, supportive and engaging culture of M4L.
5) Flexible schedule including early morning through early afternoon, weekends and occasional evenings.
