What You’ll Do: As our Enterprise Strategy & Planning intern, you will assist with our competitive intelligence and innovation efforts.  You will use your project management skills to help our innovation related proof of concepts, including documentation, oversight of POC activities, financial tracking and assistance with legal requirements.  You will also focus on researching industry trends and vendor solutions that solve business problems.  You will use your strong communication skills when preparing and presenting materials for the Innovation Council and internal business partners.  Innovative and competitive intelligence efforts will add value to both the property casualty and life companies as well as shared services areas.

Our internship program holds an 80/10/10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or working on projects within your hired work area. Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment.

What It Takes To Join Our Team:
  • Junior or Senior status preferred but not required.
  • Be detail oriented and have strong organization skills.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Be committed to learning and developing your skills.
  • Be an effective communicator.
  • Basic Microsoft program knowledge.
  • Have the ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Be team focused and highly motivated.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
