Social Media Graphic Design Intern

The Center for Worker Justice (CWJ) is a local nonprofit that works for the Eastern Iowa community. CWJ was founded in 2012 by a coalition of religious, community, labor, and immigrant organizations. We unite low-wage workers across race and immigration status to achieve social and economic justice through education, organization, direct service, and community alliances. We seek to improve Eastern Iowa communities by coordinating projects to address injustices in areas such as: workplace conditions, civil rights, access to education, and the need for affordable housing. CWJ is looking for Social Media and Graphic Design intern who can start as soon as possible. The responsibilities include: - Creating graphics to be used for fundraising, flyers, and events, write social media posts on Facebook , meet deadlines consistently, take photos at events, and write emails to CWJ members. Preferences will be made for applicants who have experience in graphic design and fundraising.
