Development Officer – Special Events (DO-SE)

Intermountain, a visionary non-profit that has been impacting the lives of children and families in Montana for over 100 years, we are seeking a Development Officer – Special Events (DO-SE).

Summary:

The Development Officer – Special Events (DO-SE) is responsible for providing overall leadership, supervision, planning, execution and evaluation of Intermountain’s signature cultivation and well established revenue-generation events. The DO-SE will provide input in all facets of fund development ensuring the integration of special events in the overall plan in order to add new donors and community sponsors, cultivate relationships, and meet ambitious fundraising goals.

This is a high-visibility position responsible for effectively representing and communicating the mission and values of Intermountain to community members, donors and volunteers in the Flathead.

The DO-SE is supervised by the Development Officer and supported by a well-seasoned development team. The DO-SE will coordinate/supervise the work of many special event volunteers.

The above knowledge, skills and abilities are typically acquired through:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a B.A. degree
  • Or through two or more years of experience in special event planning, fundraising, and/or public relations.

Position is full-time (would consider part-time for right person), salary commensurate with experience. Intermountain offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, pension, generous personal leave, and holidays.
