The Role:
Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a Fan Insights Intern. You are intellectually curious, results-oriented, and ready to translate research and insights into solutions to solve real-world business problems. You are a critical thinker who understands the big picture but can also dive into the weeds to get things done. You thrive in a collaborative environment and feel comfortable stepping up and piloting as necessary.

Live Nation Media & Sponsorship architects, sells and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programs with the world’s most recognizable brands. It is an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation’s business including venues, festivals, ticketing, artists, content, media (digital, social, mobile), promotions, and concert production. Areas you will be learning about:

  • Assist with our online community’s Quick Hits capability to bring custom fan insights into client proposals and pitches.
  • Assist in our client-obsessed efforts to spread greater knowledge within Media & Sponsorship, including continuous searching for latest industry trends and secondary research, and adding content to our internal knowledge hub.
  • Search our various qualitative resources to leverage fan quotes that will enhance pitches, proposals, studies, and thought leadership Live Nation produces.
  • Organize archive of past research and help direct sales, strategy, and solutions teams in the right direction for their pitches and projects.
  • Help research managers design, field, and analyze custom research activities to create powerful stories that elevate live music, our audiences, and the opportunities for brands.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school, preferably in a marketing, statistics, psychology, or sociology program and focus in/coursework in consumer insights, marketing, or social sciences.
  • Ability to switch gears and multi-task to handle multiple projects with constantly evolving deadlines.
  • Eagerness to translate insights/findings into sales proposals/pitch meetings.
  • Attention to detail, as quality and accuracy of work is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization and communication skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of SPSS.

This internship is for college credit and runs from the general Spring 2020 semester. It is a non-paid internship with flexible hours to reflect the need of your college credit requirements.
