MBA Intern - Innovation Product Specialist

Role: On the Enterprise Innovation team, your experience and role on the team will include:
• Immersion: Participating as a team member / contributor directly on one of our product innovation teams
• Development: Learning and developing your design thinking skills  
Responsibilities: 
Leading real work: Owning a mini-project or sprint that moves the product innovation teams work forward, including planning, collaborating and executing a series of analyses 
Helping build/lead analyses:
o Market Analysis: analyzing the competitive landscape, interpreting marketplace and sector trends, analyzing how value is created, interpreting business impact of legal and regulatory environment
o Opportunity Identification: Identifying underlying business opportunities at the intersection of user needs and potential solutions spaces
o Hypothesis Development: Ideating elements of potential business model and outlines critical assumptions
o Business Modeling: Designing business model prototypes that bring to life critical assumptions
o Financial modeling and Assumption Testing: Evaluating elements of business model through testing and empathizing with stakeholders in the ecosystem

Desired Experience:
• Previous Roles that required evaluating a marketplace and understand how existing players and new entrants compete and what their advantages are
• Leadership on project-based work
• Developing business strategies and financial models
Skills Desired
 • Strategic Problem solving - Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills. Administrative ability to plan, coordinate and assess the work of others. Decision making skills for problem identification and selection of alternatives.  
• Financial Modeling – Ability to develop evaluative models that apply strategic and financial assumptions
• Project Management - Strong administrative/project management skills such as organization, planning, interaction, collaboration and motivational techniques.
• Relationship and Communication - Excellent relationship building skills. Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels for technical personnel and customer contact. Technical report preparation and formal presentation skills. Operates effectively in an environment of deadlines and high workloads.
