Intern - Firmware/Software Engineering
Seagate has an exciting opportunity for an Intern in the Customer Firmware team at the
Shakopee Design Center.
About the role:
The Customer Firmware team is looking for a self-motivated individual to work on
development and debug of a customer firmware. The work involves troubleshooting of
existing defects, implementing features, or refactoring tasks. In this role, you will be
working alongside senior members of the team for assigned firmware tasks.
About you:
- Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
- Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Structured C and Python programming skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and self-motivated worker with a desire to
- learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork is a core competency at Seagate, so individual must be able to work and
- communicate effectively with a diverse group of engineers.
- Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM methodologies.
