Engineer


Responsibilities
Motivated and dynamic individual to improve quality, supply chain management, engineering and assembly processes at a precision machining company producing high-value components for advanced optics and aerospace industries.
The successful candidate will be able to improve, design and implement industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
·    Work with cross-functional teams to understand current workflows and challenges
·    Develop organizational and industrial knowledge through development of process documentation, tools, maps and training content
·    Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and quality of output
·    Assess existing data/processes, take measurements and interpret data to better assess company performance
·    Design, run, test and upgrade control systems and processes to coordinate activities and production planning, ensuring products meet quality standards
·    Work closely with senior management to implement practical solutions and enforce compliance
·    Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes for new projects from inception, production to shipment phase in a highly sophisticated machining environment
·    Manage cost and time constraints
·    Perform process simulations and risk assessment
Requirements
·    Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic and organized
·    Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
·    Excellent technical skills
·    Knowledge of process related standards and software·    
·    BS degree in Engineering with minimum 3.50 GPA preferred
·    Proven work experience in process engineering preferred
