Elementary Teacher
Certification:
• Meet elementary education certification requirements of the Department of Education, State of Iowa
• Reading and/or Math Endorsement preferred
Experience:
• Prior successful teaching experience preferred
• Evidence of contributions to a professional learning community and team
• Evidence of effective teaching as demonstrated in student data
• History of excellent attendance in prior work settings
Skills Required:
• Good communicator with staff, students, and families
• Problem solving skills, ability to focus on solutions
Additional Notes:
• Demonstrates competence in classroom management
• Ability to understand and use data to inform instructional decisions for student success
• Work in a collaborative team to plan and prepare for instruction
• Engage in professional growth at both the building and district level
