Inflight Training Intern - Summer 2020

Inflight Training Intern
The Intern position at Endeavor Air will integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional workplace. The Intern will utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to complete project based work assignments with an emphasis in Adult Education, Curriculum Development, and Analytical Reporting.

At Endeavor Inflight Training is responsible for providing regulatory training to Flight Attendants in Recurrent and Initial Training. Training includes soft skills and technical training that pertains to the Flight Attendant role.

Responsibilities
  • Review initial training class schedule to align with instructor schedule and recommend alternative methods for improvements.
  • Curriculum development for Flight Attendant Training.
  • Develop exams for Initial and recurrent Flight Attendant Training.
  • Use problem solving skills to research, analyze and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
  • Perform analysis and research to define project goals, reporting infrastructure and products/projects.
  • Use problem solving skills to research, analyze and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program degree program such as Hospitality/Hotel Management, Education/Adult Learning, or in relation to curriculum development with junior or senior class standing as of fall 2019.
  • Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, 40 hours per week, during normal business hours between May and August.
  • Ability to work and be based in Minneapolis, MN; no relocation assistance will be provided.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business environment.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective organizational, time management, & multi-tasking skills.
  • Prior data / analytics / statistics experience preferred.
  • Repetitive motion such as typing.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Travel as necessary.
