The MCS (Mission Critical Systems) ASIC design group at HPE is architecting, designing, and verifying ASIC designs on HPE’s MCS high performance server products. This summer intern position will focus on Logic Design activities. These activities include: specifying and micro-architecting blocks of a next generation ASIC, writing Verilog code to implement logical functions, and working with Design Verification engineers to define verification strategy. The specific area of focus for this summer intern opportunity will include one or more of these design activities depending upon where we are in the development of our next generation server platform at the time that this internship begins.
Skills Desired:
- Computer Architecture
- Cache Coherence Architecture
- Verilog and System Verilog
- C and C++
- Scripting language knowledge/ability (PERL, Python, TCL or equivalent)
Education:
- Pursuing BS or MS Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Must have completed third year of engineering studies
