 A Day In The Life Of An IT Internal Audit Intern #9827 (Must apply at State Farm site)

Internal Audit works in a team based agile environment. Interns will be exposed to a variety of different topics and technologies that will hopefully excite & challenge them. Interns can expect to complete technical IT work through the assignment of audit specific controls testing and validation of existing audit findings, also known as control deficiencies. Additionally, they will be involved in one or more projects with other interns and internal audit employees, which will test their creativity and problem solving skills. Internal Audit interns will be assigned a mentor to assist with training and understanding, but we are a team and everyone is here to help. Everyone will be expected to be able to work both individually and collaboratively.

 We Are Looking for Candidates With:

 Basic understanding of risk identification, controls, testing and data analysis. Ideal candidate would have completed 1 or more Cyber Security, Information Security, Internal Audit Course or Risk Management course. Completion of minimum of 1 Information Technology courses. Cyber Security, networking, cloud computing, or application/security controls knowledge a plus. Applicants must be currently enrolled in college and have one semester remaining after the completion of the internship.
