Intern - Program Management #3436

Position Description:
The General Dynamics Land Systems Intern Program provides an opportunity for students looking to start or continue the transition from academia into industry. Our three-month internship assignments provide compensation based on area of study and class standing, and have the students embedded in key functional areas of our business, getting real-world experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.
Participate in development of project schedules, including material need dates and schedule. Monitor project schedules, requirements, progress and delivery dates for all efforts including program and projects. Document issue resolutions, process changes, reports, interfaces and workflows. Work with end users to implement changes for improved business processes. Support Bill of Material (BOM) activities. Present recommendations to peers and leadership.

Position Requirements:
- Candidate must currently be attending an accredited university or college by ACE – American Council on Education
- Candidates must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens, background check, and must provide an original transcript from their school before their first day of employment
- Candidate must be a US person as identified by ITAR
- Must have attained at least a Sophomore status based on the university/college's class standing requirements at start of internship.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
- Students must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3-month assignment
