Finance Intern
Come join our plant finance team! This internship will allow the partner an opportunity to learn business forecasting processes, product costing, and offering financial guidance to production teams. This position is an on-going year round opportunity located in Carthage, Missouri.
In this role the intern will support the production facility by:
- Processing daily costing error report.
- Complete costing and finance templates.
- Complete journal entries during period close process.
- Assist in cost updates and other duties as assigned.
- Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
We are looking for leaders who thrive in a fast paced environment. A successful candidate will have:
- A current student studying for a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance Major. Preferring a junior status.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Availability to work full time year-round Carthage, MO.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Demonstrated ability to take charge of projects and complete assignments with minimal direction.
