Congressional Internship

The Office of Congressman Ron Estes is currently accepting applications for spring 2020 interns in our Washington D.C. office.

·      Good oral and written communication skills

·      Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with others

·      Good organizational skills

·      Responsible, dependable and willing to learn

·      Perform research

·      Sort and distribute mail

·      Attend committee meetings, intern conferences, and seminars

·      Answer the phones

·      Record constituent opinions, including their full names, addresses, and all relevant information

·      Perform other duties as assigned by staff members

Interns will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.

The dates of this internship are flexible and can be moved to accommodate housing contracts and other factors.
