JVS Volunteer Coordinator AmeriCorps VISTA
The Volunteer Coordinator is a key member of the administrative team, focusing on external relations. They help promote the mission of the agency by helping to engage the larger Kansas City community in our work and support clients in obtaining their goals. The VISTA member will: Attend outreach events and host volunteer appreciation events to increase the number of active JVS volunteers; Maintain and expand volunteer opportunities available through JVS; Maintain volunteer database; Write and distribute monthly volunteer newsletter; Support volunteers in engaging in JVS work by hosting donation drives.
VISTA members must be at least 18 and willing to undergo a National Service Background Check.
