Strategy & Business Management: The Strategic Initiatives is comprised of teams that project manage and lead large strategic initiatives throughout the firm, with examples including reshaping our US Wealth channel, putting together 5 year Distribution strategy, and putting the right operating model in place for client service across the firm to be able to serve traditional and alternative clients in a consistent way.
Business Management is comprised of 6 business managers tasked with running the day-to-day businesses of our distribution organizations in US Wealth, US Institutional, and International. These individuals operate as “mini-COOs” and collaborate with members of the distribution teams to ensure the proper execution of firm initiatives, metrics, budget tracking, and strategic thinking.
Distribution: The Distribution team is responsible for distributing Nuveen's products and solutions globally and is responsible for driving growth outside the U.S., drawing on the entire firm's investment affiliates and solutions to help clients address their unique challenges and goals.
Specifically the Global Learning & Development team within Distribution is tasked with delivering a platform that supports a culture of knowledge acquisition and skill development within the Nuveen Advisory Services organization. Through a partnership with the US and International Sales Leaders, this team accelerates the knowledge and skills for Nuveen products, asset classes, competitive landscape, regulatory and business practices, technological platforms, selling skills and other elements that contribute to the team’s success. We support all investment offerings relevant to our Distribution teams, working with key stakeholders within Nuveen, TIAA, investments, product, marketing and others around the firm so that we elevate the portfolio construction conversation with our clients. In addition, we expand the reach of our thought leadership through our practice management team which delivers content that connects to the concerns of our clients and positions Nuveen as a valued partner to their businesses.
Marketing: The Marketing group packages and positions the full range of Nuveen investment capabilities as competitively differentiated solutions tailored to channel-specific client needs.
