Clinician - PARC (PREVENTION AND RECOVERY CENTER FOR EARLY PSYCHOSIS)

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Centers , Indiana’s first community mental health center has a philosophy of care that stresses strength-based, community centered treatment that utilizes the recovery model and welcomes all patients from children to seniors. 

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s mission is to Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve, with special emphasis on the vulnerable populations of Marion County, Indiana. Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center is comprised of several clinics, outreach centers and community based services whose primary mission is to serve individuals with serious mental illness and chronic addictions, as well as seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center is seeking a Clinician who will demonstrate Understanding of and ability to implement a strengths-based, community treatment model while embracing, understanding and operating under the Recovery Model, including AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) and the spirit of motivational interviewing.

A successful Clinician will:
  • Complete biopsychosocial evaluation (BPSE); integrating information gathered by the team and developing the integrated diagnostic summary. Based upon the BPSE and in consultation with the treatment team, prepares Clinical Treatment plans, dates the treatment plan at intervals determined by guidelines, consulting with client, family, and treatment team throughout the process
  • Manage a caseload of clients; identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs; engages other team members in meeting these needs as may be indicated.
  • Perform a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions (as demonstrated competency allows) utilizing evidence bases practices
  • Provide quality case management services as indicated by client need, monitoring client progress and reflecting this in the clinical documentation
  • Evaluate and updates the treatment plan at intervals determined by guidelines; consulting with client family and team in this process; completing documentation of activities and written reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Identify community resources and assists clients in their access to these resources, providing indirect service to external agencies and community through consultation and education
  • Interpret and applies service and billing procedures according to client needs; completes billing according to guidelines for timeliness and accuracy
  • Alter activities/behaviors to reflect and ensure adequate care which is appropriate to the age of the clients served
  • Advocate for clients to ensure access to needed services which include developing community relationships and resources.
  • Meet agency standard of timely completion of all documentation
  • Meet agency standards of client service hours
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional growth by actively participating in clinical supervision


The qualified candidate will:

  •  Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a Human Services Field is required
  • A minimum of a valid Indiana temp license (LSW, LMHC or LMFT)
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license that meets Eskenazi Health’s driving policy requirements
