This role falls under Aon’s early career development program, known as Launch. This program “launches” the Aon careers of our campus hires in various full-time positions across the company. The 10-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Your Impact as An Account Representative

You will help deliver innovative, effective solutions to clients as part of an industry-leading Reinsurance business development group.

Account Representative colleagues help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through innovative solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. Representatives work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. Candidates will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.

Job Responsibilities:
·        Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions, leading consulting projects, and strategic advice to address client needs
·        Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements
·        Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations
·        Assist in the technical analysis of client information
·        Collaborate with various supporting teams within our Reinsurance Solution such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to clients
·        Participate and successfully complete the Launch training program

·        Proven analytical skills - prior analytical and problem-solving experience from academic and/or business environment
·        Working knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
·        Excellent interpersonal well-rounded communication skills
·        Ability to collaborate well with others and to interact with variety of audiences
·        Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments, work well with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a timely manner
·        Ability to think strategically and analytically and take initiative
·        Relevant work/internship experience
·        Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
Applicants for this role, part of Aon’s Launch Program, should have a target graduation date of December 2019 – Summer 2020.
