Iowa Insurance Division Internship

The Iowa Insurance Division recognizes the value of the contributions made by interns. 

Interns at the Insurance Division will be able to use this experience to help shape their career goals as well as gain knowledge in their selected area. Interns will have the opportunity to focus specifically on one area or gain experience in multiple areas of interest. While these internships are unpaid, they can be customized to meet program requirements outlined by your school for credit hours.

Interns are expected to maintain confidentiality and reflect professionalism in their work product and office appearance, as is expected of all Insurance Division employees. Interns can be confident that they will be working in a supportive, respectful environment with decades of institutional knowledge available for any questions they may have.

The Insurance Division has developed an internship program that provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of disciplines and fields of study. Interns in our program will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following areas.
