Special Events Intern
The Special Events Intern is responsible for helping the Event & Development Manager lead, plan and implement marketing strategies to grow revenues and awareness of GiGi’s Playhouse through special events. S/he will help design marketing materials, social media campaigns and website design. S/he is the point person along with the Event Manager for all marquee fundraising events and will help manage all aspects offundraising events with the support of volunteer event committees. S/he will also help coordinate miscellaneous fundraising events on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate should have in interest in marketing successful galas, walks/runs, golf outings, lifestyle events such as wine tastings, craft expositions, art events, and fashion events. S/he will have the ability to travel routinely within the greater Chicagoland area. S/he will demonstratestrong project/event management, marketing, volunteer management, and relationship development skills.
