Equity and Diversity Internship 
The QBP Equity and Diversity Internship is comprised of multiple interns working across different areas of the business. Interns have role-specific responsibilities within their dedicated field in addition to group activities and projects. The purpose of the program is to diversify QBP and the cycling industry by encouraging talented students who are members of underrepresented communities and identities and/or students with a demonstrated commitment towards advancing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion to pursue careers in the bicycle industry. 
Eligible internship candidates are members of underrepresented communities and identities and/or students with a demonstrated commitment towards advancing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule

QBP’s Consumer Brands division is a collection of 11 distinct brands serving the bike-riding population, from niche enthusiasts to the casual rider. We make the products that keep people active, healthy and engaged with riding bikes! If you’ve ever shopped for bike stuff online or stopped into a local bike shop, you’ve likely encountered something we make. 
We are seeking a digital marketing analyst intern to help collect, report and offer insights into our digital marketing campaigns. By working across our marketing manager group and our ecommerce departments, you’ll gain knowledge of our key campaigns and establish reporting and offer analysis of key campaigns. 
By the end of your summer, you will have tested at least three working theories within our brand portfolio to increase campaign effectiveness. This self-starting individual should be a sharp problem solver, well-versed in reporting and storytelling through data. 
 
What you will learn: 
• Get a deep dive into a broad and varied collection of brands and the digital channels that they operate in.  
• Translate data into meaningful and actionable business insights with data-driven storytelling
• Put marketing theory into practice by engaging with marketing professionals to understand stated brand goals, provide reporting from available channels, and suggest campaign optimizations. 
• Establish automated reporting through digital properties for marketing managers

What you need to succeed: 
Qualifications 
• Knowledge/Skills- Proficient in digital channels and the supporting digital campaign structures: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Facebook analytics; capable of generating reports and performing analysis summaries; Excel proficiency
• Abilities- Ability to extrapolate insights and ideas from abstract data and efficiently communicate (written and verbal) how to apply a concept to optimize campaigns and initiatives. 
• Experience- Advanced Google Analytics certificate; knowledge of operating campaigns on multiple platforms; ability to integrate multiple data sources to develop cross-channel insights
• Education level- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science or related discipline, with an interest in Marketing; in-process Master's degree preferred. 
• Behavioral Attributes/key characteristics- Examples: Willingness to take initiative and work effectively without close supervision, maintain accuracy and quantity of work under pressure of deadlines and changing priorities, adaptable and flexible with change
• Other related criteria- Must be able to sit at a desk and type on a keyboard for long periods of time. Must have an interest in or willingness to learn about the cycling industry and understand basic motivations and intentions of the buyer’s journey.
