Functions
-Motivation – Cold-calling and prospecting customers daily, with occasional face-to-face client visits. Pushing to build a book of business is the driving element of this role
-Negotiation – You are empowered to quote pricing and negotiate lanes directly with your customers. It is up to you to manage your portfolio and maximize profitability
-Customer Service – This is the most critical piece of the job. Timely communication and follow up to the customer’s inquiries is a must
-Account Management – Maintain complete and accurate records of customer information and sales activity within our CRM (customer relationship management) system
-Innovate – We are always looking to find new and better solutions to provide your customers
 
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; experience weighs value
-2 years or more of domestic selling experience with LTL/FTLsales, and/or 3rd Party Logistics (3PL)
-Ability to understand products and pricing patterns for truck brokerage
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access)
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-Ability to listen actively and to respond to questions with complete and accurate answers
