Deputy Sheriff

Applications are being accepted for a full-time Deputy Sheriff at the Taylor County Sheriff’s office. Applicants who have previous law enforcement experience may be offered a higher wage rate and additional vacation.

Employees in this position will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, taking calls for service, patrolling to deter and detect crime, investigating complaints, citing and/or arresting law violators, preparing and/or serving civil processes and protecting persons and property.
