Education Department Intern- Illinois History Day | Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum

Intern will report to the Affiliate Coordinator of the Illinois History Day program. Primary responsibilities will be researching and developing content for the Illinois History Day program. Content includes materials for the website as well as packets, training videos, and information for teachers and students. Duties include, but are not limited to, research, writing, web-content development, editing, and other duties as assigned relating to the needs of the Education Department. The internship includes development opportunities, such as: behinds the scenes tours, interaction with other library and museum departments, and options to learn more about ALPLM’s programs and careers.

Demonstrated proficiency in Office products. Applicant should be highly organized and pursuing a degree (undergraduate or graduate) in the fields of history, education, museum studies, library science, or related.
