Health Assistant (Residential Summer Employment)

The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth has exciting summer employment opportunities for graduate and advanced undergraduate students and alumni preparing for careers in health professions.
For decades, CTY’s summer programs have provided fun and enriching experiences for the most academically gifted elementary, middle, and high school students in the world.
Working with CTY in the summer, you get to participate in the day-to-day operation of the student health office, providing basic first aid to students and administrative support to site nurses. Health assistants accompany students to medical appointments and on emergency room visits, keep electronic records, confer with parents, and liaise with nearby medical professionals. Driving site rental vehicles is a job requirement at residential sites; therefore, candidates must have good driving records and be at least 21 at the start of the summer.
Positions are available on the East and West coasts. Housing and meals are provided in addition to salary for staff at residential sites. Salary for seven-week employment is $3,200. Four-week positions are available at some locations.
