Postdoctoral Position on Plant Genetics and Genomics of Grain Quality in Wheat at the USDA-ARS in Albany CA
A postdoctoral position is available at the USDA Agricultural Research Service location in Albany, CA. Participant will be involved in research projects to improve wheat grain quality and end-uses using genetics, molecular biology and genomic approaches. The position requires a new or recent (within the past 5 years) PhD and a demonstrated expertise in genetics and molecular techniques for DNA, RNA and protein analysis in plants. A strong background knowledge in statistics is a plus. U.S. citizens and permanent residents who meet certain employment eligibility requirements are preferred.
