Inside Sales Support Representative

Torque Fitness is an innovative and growing manufacturer of high-end performance training equipment. Torque is looking for a highly-motivated individual that is passionate about fitness to take on the position of Inside Sales Support Representative.

Role Description:
This role will support one of Torque’s dealer sales representatives by managing, nurturing and building existing accounts. This person will manage the entire sales process from uncovering new leads and managing incoming leads to final sale and follow-up for designated accounts. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role’s performance will be measured by their ability to become an expert in our product lines, quality and timeliness of sales proposals, phone and written correspondence, and growing key accounts in addition to meeting sales quota and goals. Working knowledge of NetSuite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and general sales intelligence is required in order to adequately perform in this role. This position requires mechanical and spatial aptitude for working with product layouts as well as overall excellent computer skills.

Specific Role Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new accounts and build relationships with potential customers via primary research and using various modes of communication such as phone and internet communication.
  • Determine a defined/targeted list of companies/contacts to prospect monthly.
  • Manage the sales process for new and assigned accounts until turned over to Sales or closed.
  • Room layouts in 3D software and assist X-Team Design.
  • Develop and implement direct marketing programs targeting new prospects in key segments and verticals to raise levels of customer acquisition and retention.
  • Experiment with new and alternative ways to generate leads.
  • Log all activity into the company’s customer relationship management. Including, but not limited to leads, quotes, orders, and returns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidate Background Requirements:
  • One to three years of demonstrated customer service or sales responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required as this position involves extensive personal contact with others. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contact become important in fostering sound relationships with other companies and/or individuals is critical.
Other Important Skills:
  • Proven track record of hands-on experience managing lead generation campaigns.
  • Embrace an ever-changing environment while simultaneously balancing multiple projects and able to switch priorities and focus need.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with peers as well as executive level management
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Constant Contact, and NetSuite.
