Communications Assistant

MicroGrants (MG) works to assist "people of potential" toward financial stability through our micro grants program. Staying connected with donors, supporters, partner agencies, and grantees requires a sound communication strategy along with the commitment of a communications professional.

MG is looking for an individual who is dedicated to social justice and the needs of our fellow community members - someone who is an organized, effective, and experienced communicator eager to utilize their gifts and talents to make a difference in our community and the world.

This position requires a preferably experienced communication professional to assist with the management and implement the multiple formats by which we connect with our community. Working with our small team, and independently, the Communications Assistant’s work places them both in the digital world as well as out in the community where they will engage our grant recipients and document the impact that MG's work has had on their lives.

The Communications Assistant will coordinate our print and web-based projects and work with outside vendors. Together with the rest of the MG team, they will assist us in conducting our occasional events. "

At MG we rely heavily on our communications to ensure that we can maximize our capacity and assist as many grantees as possible.
