Intern (Data Engineer Graduate - Summer)

Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects

Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
Qualifications:
Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.

Experience/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
 
Basic Purpose:
- Assist with leveraging streaming frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, Apache Samza, Apache Flink, Apache Apex, Apache Nifi, or Apache Pulsar
- Assist with exploring new SQL, No-SQL, and NewSQL database technologies to accommodate storage needs
- Assist with existing storage solutions such as Oracle and MongoDB
- Assist with expanding into new storage technologies such as Cassandra, Hadoop, VoltDB, DocumentDB, etc.
- Assist with building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Cloudbee or Jenkins
- Assist with maintain the infrastructure build scripts (via Ansible Tower)
- Assist with building a self-service platform/portal for use by our shared service consumers.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with or knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with or knowledge of Kafka as a Service
- Experience with Java
