Nuclear Medicine Tech

Responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services in the specialty of Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and PET as an advanced application.  Operates a variety of equipment to produce images of the patient’s body for diagnostic purposes and therapeutic procedures involving radiopharmaceuticals.  Interviews patients, explains procedures, and positions the patient for procedures.  Reviews test results with radiologists/referring physicians. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Completion of an NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine program or meet eligibility requirements to become registered with NMTCB or ARRT. 
  • Registered with the NMTCB or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT (N)) within one (1) year of employment. 
  • Fundamental understanding of general Nuclear Medicine and radiopharmaceuticals. 
  • Current Montana License as appropriate to provide PET/CT services. 
  • Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
