Human Resources Intern

Quartz is seeking an intern to join our Human Resources team. This paid internship will offer participants the opportunity to learn important skills based on real-world experience in a fun and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and maintaining relevant department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Diversity Recruitment outreach and promoting an inclusive work environment
  • Automation and process improvements for key HR projects, activities and forms
  • Assist in enhancing learning and development offerings as well as onboarding
  • Communicate results to leadership through a final presentation

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to company policies, work hours, and rules governing professional staff behavior.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to the Human Resources career path
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week between June and August
  • Sophomore or Junior class standing preferred at time of hire
  • Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  • Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change.
  • Presents a positive and professional image.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role will work from our office in Madison, WI with regular travel to be expected to our office in Sauk City, WI. Quartz offers a professional culture built upon the values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships.
