Communications Senior Analyst
Our award-winning analytics group of 100+ analysts is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our team. As part of a broader cross-PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) analytics team, the Analyst/Senior Analyst will focus on:
- Earned traditional and social media monitoring, content analysis and measurement
- Agile, formative analytics to help shape traditional and social media execution
- Cross-PESO measurement
- Supporting W2O’s proprietary Corporate Relevance Index (blog, podcast)

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as an analytics partner to account teams
- Nurture long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as lead day-to-day and typically manage 2-3 ongoing analytics projects with support from senior management
- Focus on analytics to help understand audiences, shape narrative, optimize execution and content, and measure results
- Bridge previous experiences with 3rd party analytics platforms and the application of W2O-proprietary platforms, methods and approaches
- Extract multiple types of data from multiple sources to draw inferences, conclusions, insights
- Partner with account teams to develop actionable recommendations
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with at least a few of the following (and ideally in a healthcare agency context):
- Traditional media monitoring
- Social media monitoring
- Text mining
- Content analysis
- Owned social channel analytics
- Paid social analytics
- Web analytics
- Search analytics
- Influencer network analysis
- Social audience profiling, segmentation
- Cross-PESO measurement
- Scorecards and dashboards
- You’re conversant in and handy with tools such as:
- Trendkite, Muckrack, BuzzSumo
- CrimsonHexagon/Brandwatch, Sysomos
- BrighTag
- Adobe Analytics
- Tableau, DOMO, Looker
- You have strong oral and written communication skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel,
- You have excellent project management skills.
- You are proactive and efficient communication across internal team
- You are able to think critically (conceptualizing, analyzing, applying, evaluating) to guide accurate, clear and sound recommendations & actions
- You are able to initially prepare well-crafted decks that tell a story, have a clear POV
- You are competent with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- You have a college degree (BA or equivalent), with relevant concentration such as market research, marketing, communications, public relations, or social sciences; Master’s degree a plus
