Quartz is seeking an intern to join our Sales team. This paid internship offers the opportunity to learn important skills based on real-world experience in a fun and dynamic work environment. The Sales Intern will develop an awareness of the sales cycle, service and retention of accounts, sales communications, and agent licensing.

Internship Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of different sales workflows
  • Review sales communications and write / edit content
  • Update Sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Manage project plans, including new group implementation
  • Support agent licensing
  • Communicate results to leadership through a final presentation

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to company policies, work hours, and rules governing professional staff behavior.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to Sales career path
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week between June and August and winter break and 10 hours/week during semesters
  • Sophomore or Junior class standing preferred at time of hire
  • Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  • Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change
  • Presents a positive and professional image
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates will work from our office in Madison, WI. Occasional travel between offices for team meetings and activities may be expected. We offer a professional culture built upon the values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships.
