Sales Intern
Quartz is seeking an intern to join our Sales team. This paid internship offers the opportunity to learn important skills based on real-world experience in a fun and dynamic work environment. The Sales Intern will develop an awareness of the sales cycle, service and retention of accounts, sales communications, and agent licensing.
Internship Objectives:
- Gain an understanding of different sales workflows
- Review sales communications and write / edit content
- Update Sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Manage project plans, including new group implementation
- Support agent licensing
- Communicate results to leadership through a final presentation
The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to company policies, work hours, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to Sales career path
- Ability to work 40 hours/week between June and August and winter break and 10 hours/week during semesters
- Sophomore or Junior class standing preferred at time of hire
- Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
- Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change
- Presents a positive and professional image
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
