Wildlife Ecologist Seasonal Worker

JOB OVERVIEW:   
Work in the great outdoors this summer while participating in biological inventories, wildlife restoration and reintroduction programs! Spend the summer working alongside our Wildlife Ecologist as a seasonal worker assisting with biological survey’s, help monitor the natural features and wildlife resources on the District’s land, and assist in the implementation of natural area management plans.
What are we looking for? Looking for an individual with course work at a college or university level in wildlife management, biology, ecology, zoology, or a natural resource related field. The individual should have of some knowledge in ecological principles as well as in the areas of ecology, zoology, and botany as they apply to wildlife species, biological inventory work. Furthermore, the individual should possess the ability to learn and practice sound scientific data recording methods.

For your safety and those around you, we require applicants to have a current, valid driver’s license and complete a pre-employment drug screening due to driving being essential to the job as well as be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
