BP STEP (Shaping Talent, Energy & Potential)
Are you looking to develop your networking and leadership skills outside of the classroom? BP STEP (Shaping Talent Energy Potential) is a four-day leadership development program that will help you:
- Gain leadership skills through a series of workshops and networking with industry leaders.
- Deep dive into BP end-to-end operations within our Upstream and Downstream businesses, with a focus on engineering, technology and commercial retail.
- Apply your skills and knowledge to real business issues through a team case competition.
Program Dates:
- July 13th-16th in Chicago (with a focus on Downstream – ideal for Engineering, Technology and Business majors)
After completing the online application, you’ll be directed to HireVue, where you’ll participate in a virtual interview. Applications will be evaluated based on academic record, virtual interview responses, work experience, demonstrated leadership, community/extracurricular involvement and interest/knowledge of the energy industry.
Applications for BP STEP close March 1st, 2020.
To be eligible for either program, students must:
- Have a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Have a graduation date of December 2021 or 2022 or May 2023
