SOLIDWORKS Hardware Certification Lab Intern

As a SOLIDWORKS Hardware Lab Intern, you will make a lasting impact on the SOLIDWORKS certification process. You will help ensure our software runs efficiently on a variety of professional grade hardware.
 
This is a paid internship spanning from May through August 2020. You will be working in the Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS at 2418 Crossroads Drive Suite 2600, Madison, WI 53718.

What will your role be?

As a Lead Hardware Tester and Quality Inspector you will:
  • Test professional grade hardware using SOLIDWORKS software in order to verify performance as expected or report and track issues to resolution
  • Analyze the testing process and suggest improvements using our in-house software
  • Assist in hosting a customer BETA event held in the Madison office
  • Experience corporate climate in a small remote office with the ability to work with people worldwide
  • Make a lasting impact on the certification process for SOLIDWORKS
 
Your Key Success Factors
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Information Technology for the duration of the internship
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
  • Ability to work onsite in the Madison office; no offsite or remote permitted
  • Strong familiarity with computer hardware and graphics
  • Strong functional use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Access or SQL
  • A satisfaction when finding software bugs
  • Strong analytical thinking and interest in process improvement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a simplified way
  • Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
  • Highly organized with critical attention to details
