ESL Teacher - Non-Native

We are looking for non-native ESL teachers to work in cities of Ningbo, Guangde and Chizhou in China.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparing lesson plans for your classes according to the curriculum provided

2. Carrying out classes in English from your prepared lesson plans to students of various ages, mainly young children from 3 – 12 years of age. This may include games and activities incorporated into the class.

3. Be familiar with the school process (school schedule, meetings, office work, class time)

4. You maybe required to attend regular school meetings and school activities

5. 40 working hours in total per week, with up to 25 of those hours spent teaching in a classroom with the rest of the 15 hours spent in the office preparing their classes. Two days off per week as well.

We are offering:

1. Salary: 8,000 – 17,000 CNY per month after tax (8K for inexperienced teachers, 14K-17K for experienced teachers) –

2. Free Accommodation (single bedroom, Wi-Fi, TV, bathroom, kitchen, laundry etc. provided) – please note utilities will need to be paid monthly

3. Legal Z working visa and reimbursement for visa fees acquired in your home country

4. Free Mandarin Chinese lessons (depending on location of placement this will either be in person at our Chinese school or online)

5. Reimbursement of up to 5000 CNY for flight costs

6. Free health insurance

7. Professional academic training and assistance for teachers who are inexperienced

8. 11 paid annual national holidays

9. 7-10 days paid Summer or Winter holiday each

11. Life service assistance with bank card/account, phone card, hospital assistance if needed, online shopping/use of Chinese apps

Requirements:

1. A bachelor degree or higher (English teaching \art\dance\music\education related major is preferred)

2. 24 months and above after graduation from university

3. Fluent English without accent

4. The visa process requires a full health check and a non-criminal certificate from their home country
