Ambulatory Client Training Specialist - Billing/Coding

As a MEDITECH ambulatory trainer, you are the first point of contact exposing physician practices to our fully integrated, interoperable Enterprise Health Record. As a member of our Client Services & Implementation team, your job would involve:
  • Training and installation of our Ambulatory Enterprise Health Record System
  • Project management of software install from initial assessment to live
  • Acting as the primary contact for our physician practice clients throughout the implementation process
  • Learning and implementing MEDITECH's Ambulatory software
  • Conducting hands-on training for revenue cycle staff including front office, physician coding, and billing personnel as well as practice administrators
  • Multi-tasking and communicating with staff members across MEDITECH's Ambulatory, Acute, Emergency Department, and Home Health applications
  • Providing customer service and troubleshooting application software issues
  • Working on a team with programmer analysts to resolve any technical issues
  • Working on group projects, interacting with development staff, and mentoring co-workers
  • Processing requests for system enhancements or modifications to our evolving software
  • Designing and maintaining application documentation
  • Updating and maintaining an online project tracking system
  • Traveling 50-75% of the time anywhere within the United States and Canada to conduct new customer training

  • Bachelor's degree and/or applicable training and education or customer service experience preferred, and/or related military experience
  • Administrative or Billing experience in Physician Office or Ambulatory Practice setting preferred
  • Knowledge of ICD 10 and E & M codes, along with revenue cycle experience, preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong desire to learn
