USL Pro Iowa Video Content Creator Internship
February 2020 – June 2020
Approx. 12-16 Hours per Week
This paid internship focuses on video content creation designed to promote the USL Pro Iowa movement and brand. In this role, you will work in a creative space for an exciting project focused on the movement to bring professional soccer to Central Iowa.
Responsibilities
• Shooting and editing original video content for various platforms – primarily social and website.
• Design eye-catching materials including but not limited to video content and some digital graphics to promote USL Pro Iowa.
• Plan and execute initiatives that fit the organization’s goals and marketing plan.
• Other projects and duties, as directed by USL Director of Revenue while working closely with Marketing.
Qualifications
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and video production software.
• Experience with social media and the ability to learn new software.
• Creative and resourceful in generating new ideas.
• Professional and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to consistently work ahead and meet deadlines.
• Ability to plan and execute effective marketing strategies that build brand, awareness and interaction.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with a positive attitude and dedication to the organization’s goals, mission and values.
• Proven team player who is willing to work nights and weekends and do what it takes to get the job done.
• The ability to problem solve and to think on the fly in a fast-paced environment.
