HR Management Systems Intern

Intern with our Human Resource Management Systems Team in Tinley Park, Illinois.

The HRMS Intern will be responsible for providing support to the HRMS team on daily administrative tasks as well as special projects. This position provides hands-on exposure to the behind-the-scenes administration of HR systems, with a specific focus on metrics and system training.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Validate existing job aids for accuracy & clarity
  • Manage a project to translate all HRMS training collateral into Panduit’s supported languages using a third-party translation service. 
  • Post all final job aids to the appropriate site for access by employees, managers and HR staff.
  • Compile and analyze data, identifying trends and opportunities to improve data integrity
  • Assist in special projects and other duties, as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Prior human resources experience preferred
  • Prior exposure to Workday and/or reporting tool(s) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An inquisitive mindset with an interest in data analytics
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Major:
Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer ScienceOr Related Major 

Start Date: May 2020

Grade Level: Junior or Higher
