Nanolab is looking for a scientist who will be responsible for the promotion and growth of the Atom Probe Tomography business, working closely with manufacturer to develop advanced 3D characterization technique and providing advanced training to team members, new users on equipment operation and technical analysis.
Employee Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include interacting with customers, using the Atom Probe Tomography for data collection, sample preparation using Focused Ion Beam, performing 3D reconstruction analysis, writing scientific reports for Nanolab customers, maintaining the tool performance.
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- PhD in Materials Science with minimum 3-year hands on experience in Atom Probe Tomography (APT) and Dual Beam Focused Ion Beam / Scanning Electron Microscopy, minimum 3-year experience in FIB sample preparation for Atom Probe and APT/TEM characterization of materials
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse customer base and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in coordinating with instrument service team to keep the equipment running at the optimal condition
