Cash Services - 12 Month Intern

Job Summary
Cash services intern is responsible for performing key activities for Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and business functions. The intern will also aid to optimize reporting and key performance indicators in the function and partner functions of credit and deductions. They will participate in a project to animate the Celonis (process mining) tool for accounts receivable and help the teams to identify processes to convert to robotic process automation (RPA). 
 
The intern’s work will be centered on the following activities:
  • Perform cash application, trade promotion and credit / debit adjustment in the following Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and business functions:
  • Cash application – cash posting and application of customer payments to accounts receivable
  • Trade Fund Promotion approvals via APEX and LEAP systems - payments initiated by the deductions team for issuance of credit including issuance of checks and electric funds transfer
  •  Credit / Debit adjustments processing as an audit and control function.
  • Aid in developing training and supporting guides for accounts receivable functions ( Cash application, credit and deductions)
  • Work to optimize daily reporting - reconciliation of funds, treasury and deductions.
  • Animate Celonis (process mining) tool for accounts receivable and help the teams to identify processes to convert to robotic process automation (RPA). 
Job Requirements
  • Graduate between December 2018 and December 2019 with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Recent graduate between December 2018 – December 2019
  • Functional SAP knowledge or other systems knowledge capability
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, along with ability to effectively interact with all level of employees
  • Must be interpersonal and team-work oriented
  • Strong commitment to the customer and corporate values
  • Interested in Lean Six Sigma and robotic process automation
