Ballpark Operations Intern
Description of Responsibilities:
- Each Intern will be responsible for the oversight of a specific ballpark location
- Areas of focus include the concessions, tailgate, and merchandise stands
- Assist with receiving and organizing all food/beverage and merchandise orders
- Merchandise store setup and stocking of items
- Inventory & tracking of product
- Assist with the scheduling of game-day staff
- Assist with the quality control of ballpark cleaning and maintenance
- Interns are required to work all 32 home games ranging from 10-12 hours per shift
- Office hours on non game days will be around 4 hours per day Monday-Friday
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Food and/or retail experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
COMPENSATION:
- Monthly compensation
- Housing provided
Since the Sabre Dogs are not an accredited academic institution, we cannot offer academic credit to a student. Alternatively, we work with student interns and their institution to fulfill any requirements the student would need to receive academic credit. Our preference is to hire student interns that are concurrently enrolled in an academic internship program. To obtain credit hours for this internship position, candidates must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an academic internship course through their college or university that will run concurrently with this internship opportunity.
