About the Internship
The paid Marketing Internship offers the college student the opportunity to fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of our corporate marketing department in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. Throughout the internship, you will build upon your current skill sets and work in a collaborative environment, while learning from subject matter experts in the organization.
 
Internships typically run from May/June to August.
 
Internship Description
In this role, the Intern will primarily be responsible for assisting in the prequalification process for proposal submittals. This position will also have the opportunity to assist in the development and execution of corporate communication campaigns and other projects that support department needs.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Will be responsible for, but not limited to:
1.    Verify and collect licensure data and documents to submit for prequalification proposals
2.    Enter licensure data and documents into the web portal in a timely and accurate manner
3.    Ensure all case study files are correctly filed
4.    Assist in internal and external communication for multiple audiences through email campaigns and web content
 
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
· Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field
· Must have knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
·Able to demonstrate attention to detail, superb organizational and follow-up skills
·Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
